I have professional recital experience, having performed for music societies across the UK, and at London’s Wigmore Hall and Purcell Room. Over the years I have worked with many wonderful musicians and chamber groups. I am currently accompanist for the Cradley Singers Choir, Malvern Male Voice Choir, The Hills Singers and at Malvern St James School.

I have accompanied literally hundreds of children at music exams, festivals, school concerts, dance shows, GCSE and A level performances, and have a wealth of experience as rehearsal pianist for choral societies and stage shows.  I also regularly accompany undergrad auditions at the London conservatories. I am therefore familiar with a good deal of repertoire, and have excellent sight reading abilities. Although I am classically trained, I am equally happy accompanying in musical theatre and pop genres.

I generally see rehearsals as a lesson in ensemble playing, encouraging the performer to connect and interact with the piano part (it is also worth noting that these are skills that an examiner may award marks for!).
